


The 2016 growing season had a staggering 36 days with temperatures exceeding 30 degrees. The season was also noteworthy for its dry conditions with only 325mm of rainfall versus a normal average of 525mm. Some locations in Niagara West (including Westcott Vineyards) received brief respites with near normal rainfall in the latter parts of July and August.
