d'Arenberg The Noble Wrinkled Riesling 2021

Liquid gold! Dried apricots present themselves initially. Pear marmalade cooked white fruits, lychee and a little touch of quince. Some kaffir lime zest. A nice glycerol mouth coating feel. Sweet but not sickly. Exuberant acidity. A very refreshing finish. This is the perfect wine to end a meal. 13.5% ABV.

Like sunlight shining through melted butter, this vibrant yellow colored wine is a sweet and luscious as it gets. Candied apricots and mandarins, wildflower honey and raw beeswax glide to a viscous, mouth-coating palate. The acidity is quiet but present, creeping in just before the finish—alongside the alcohol—to provide much a much needed lift.
