It was a perfect year in the vineyard and that simple fact shines out in the bright cassis fruit, deep and expressive, rich without being jammy, perfumed without leafiness, an aura of oak glowing in the background, while the palate is medium bodied and utterly drinkable, round and smooth, easy to drink.
