The grapes from which Pélopée is made come from the oldest vineyard on the estate. The vines were grafted on site by the current owner's grandmother and are part of the estate’s wine growing heritage. The pélopée is a mason wasp that builds small individual clay cells for its eggs, reminding us of the egg-shaped amphorae in which the wine rests.
