The story of Montes seems like a dream, and, truthfully, that's how it began. In 1987 two visionaries, Aurelio Montes and Douglas Murray, both with extensive experience in the world of wine, wanted to realise their dreams of producing wines of a quality far superior to what was being produced in Chile at that time. In 1988 they joined with the other two original partners, Alfredo Vidaurre and Pedro Grand, each making a unique and complementary contribution. Montes and Montes Alpha wines will reach more than a hundred countries and are recognised for their extraordinary and permanent quality.
